Ginger Events is a boutique wedding studio led by sisters-in-law Izzy and Ashley, creating refined, intentional celebrations across Aotearoa and destination locations worldwide.
We specialise in wedding planning, styling, on-the-day coordination and celebrant services for couples who value clarity, considered design and a calm, highly organised approach to their wedding experience.
We are based between Tāmaki Makaurau - Auckland and Tauranga Moana, and work with couples throughout Aotearoa and internationally.

Our services include full wedding planning, styling and creative direction, on-the-day coordination and bespoke celebrant ceremonies. Each service is tailored, with support designed around your celebration rather than a fixed package structure. Every proposal is created individually to reflect your location, guest experience and level of involvement required.
Alongside Izzy and Ashley is a small, experienced team who support the delivery of each wedding on the ground. This allows us to maintain consistency, calm and precision across every celebration while ensuring a highly personal experience.
We take on a limited number of weddings each season to ensure every celebration receives a considered, high-touch experience.

Izzy leads the creative direction of Ginger Events, shaping considered, design-led celebrations for modern couples. With a background in hospitality, design, and a passion for meaningful experiences, she also offers bespoke celebrant services, crafting ceremonies that feel personal and authentic. -

Kim brings many years of hospitality and event experience, including owning and running The Big Apple Café in Waitomo, a well-loved restaurant and function venue. Her background has shaped a deep understanding of guest experience, service and smooth event delivery. -
